To conquer your fears you have to face them, so tonight I’m facing several, all tied into social anxiety.  Meaning, I’m meeting a complete stranger and will engage in conversation with them.  I should give myself more credit for this — several years ago it would have been nearly impossible.

What comes to mind is that I’m a fan of extreme horror films from places like Italy and Japan, and some people I’ve known thought I was seriously mentally disturbed for enjoying these kinds of movies.
